General Code Website Redesign

General Code is currently the 2nd largest codifier in the U.S. and over the last few weeks, I have had the privilege of partnering with their amazing team to design a brand new website.

Basically, they manage everything related to the code of law in your town including the creation of online and electronic versions!

Using existing colors, typography, and branding, my goal was to examine General Code's unique target audience (town clerks, government officials, etc) and design a website that introduced the company (and it's customers) to the modern web.

More importantly, I did extensive research to ensure that the right content was getting delivered in the right place and at the right to multiple different types of viewers.

I'm finishing up the designs this week before they are passed off to the in-house development team.
