Seeking for vintage treasures?

I was recently given the wonderful opportunity to design a logo for an Instagram profile, Bazar.23. This was a project particularly close to my heart, as it was a collaboration with my family. The logo captures the essence of Bazar.23: a treasure trove of vintage ceramic items, each with their own unique, beautiful history.

Crafting a bridge between the past and present with design

In the design process, I wanted to encapsulate the sense of discovery when one stumbles upon an artefact from a bygone era. Using a palette of muted orange and dark green, the logo echoes the characteristic tones of vintage ceramics. The result is a logo that straddles the boundary between the old and the new, just like the vintage items it represents.

A typographical mix reflecting eclectic finds

In the logo design for Bazar.23, I deliberately mixed uppercase and lowercase letters to symbolize the eclectic mix of items one can discover at a bazaar. Each character, like each vintage treasure, is unique yet forms a cohesive whole. The diverse typeface is a nod to the assortment of items available, while the consistency in design reflects the careful curation that ensures every piece fits perfectly within the Bazar.23 collection. Much like exploring a bazaar, the joy lies in finding harmony amidst the beautiful chaos.
