Registry with A Co-buy Option

In a design thinking workshop our team did an exercise of redesigning gift giving experience. One good idea is to allow friends/family members to co-buy a gift.

In the animation, after clicking on "Co-buy", a user can customize how much he/she can contribute using the money slider. After contributing half of the cost, the user can further invite other friends to share the cost.
