MINMAR Durian Ice Cream is made with Mao Shan Wang durian as the primary ingredient, boasting a rich and intense fruit fragrance. With a gentle touch on the tongue, it offers a smooth and velvety texture that caresses every taste bud. The abundant and tender durian flesh covers the palate, providing a delightful and satisfying experience. In this encounter, we use the color yellow to convey the burst of durian's aroma, making the brand highly recognizable.
By employing design, we can give ice cream, a naturally cold food, a sense of sophistication while also appealing to people's appetites for it, making them momentarily forget about its calorie content.
Most of the time, a brand conveys a unified feeling, and food packaging often chooses warm colors with high saturation and brightness. Colors are not just a visual stimulus; they can also trigger our cones in the eyes. According to color psychology, warm colors like red, yellow, and orange carry hidden emotions of excitement, freshness, and health, which can stimulate our appetite.
There are special details on the packaging worth noting, with the label "D197" printed on the box, and it comes with an interesting story. A long time ago, the mother tree of the Mao Shan Wang durian grew on an island called Pulau Raya in the Kelantan River. In the 1970s, the mother tree's grafts were transplanted, and it was extensively planted in various places such as Raub, Bentong, Gemencheh, and Sungai Ruan in the state of Pahang. The Agriculture Department registered it as "D197." Therefore, the Mao Shan Wang durian is also known as "D197," representing the top-tier variety of durians in Malaysia, earning the reputation of "Durian King."
Hence, we incorporated this symbol onto the packaging, not only highlighting the brand's pursuit of the finest ingredients but also giving birth to a powerful icon. The numerical label becomes an indispensable element in the brand's visual identity on the packaging, telling a story that is both memorable and visually appealing.
