Festa del Grafisme

Festa del Grafisme is a collective project and design event that takes place in the coastal border town of Portbou, Spain. The event is aimed at creatives from various sectors and advocates for the plurality of ideas and thoughts.

Its intention is to create a community space with workshops, talks, and exhibitions to explore and learn about different creative disciplines in a natural environment. All of this is designed to leave behind the stress of work and escape from routine.

For the event's communication identity, we wanted to combine the ideals of summer camps: the sense of community, teamwork, and learning in a natural and fun setting.

To achieve this, nine mascots have been created, which can serve as symbols and identities for a brand or represent a community, often present in summer camps. Six of them refer to creative sectors such as photography, drawing, painting, and cinema, while three of them represent the city of Portbou: the map, the float, and the sun.

The color palette features saturated and pastel tones that evoke nature and the beach. The typography references vintage posters with a combination of retro and playful styles with a sans-serif font.
