This project is a UX design of a simple mobile app for adventurous people which helps tourists in Paris find local events that most Parisians know about and enables visitors the opportunity to experience the city like locals.

The goal

is to help tourists find suitable and interesting events based on their time limit in the city and the possibility to book the event online.

Design Journey Summary

My idea came from a simple question: How can I live in a city where I have limited time in it?

This was the beginning of my research through the internet and traveller’s blogs to understand the basics of travelling in our time. Based on this research I understood the age range of travellers and where they mostly visit in different cities. A wide range of places were famous like the Eiffel tower in Paris. So, what about people looking for a unique experience? Thankfully, the title of my Sharpen project limited my research. Therefore, I started to learn about arcades in Paris. Due to understanding what could my users look for in these places? Therefore, I put up an online survey for all people in the age range that has been mentioned before. The results were very interesting and made my path clear.
