This is the first illustration I have done (and posted).

I've been looking at some of the awesome building illustrations that @Miguel Camacho does, and I was inspired to try and do one myself.

I visited Chicago in May this year. While exploring, this cupcake shop caught my eye. I loved the look of the place, and naturally, I went in to sample a cupcake (or two). I couldn't leave without taking a photo.

I imported the photo into Sketch, and started to draw over it to get the proportions and layout more or less right. It took me a good few hours in total as I'm still getting to grips with illustrations and using Sketch in general.

If you get a chance, give this place a visit. They do some fine cupcakes!
