At the heart of the brand identity, the wordmark was designed to manifest elegance and sophistication. The logo captures the Mille Senteurs concept with customized typography that’s both refined and gestural. Dominated by the softened curves and thin strokes, it seems delicate and relaxing at first glance. Bean reinterpreted the classic handwritten typeface Holimount with the egregious emphasis on the uppercases—the more edging “M” and the looping “S”, evokes a freewheeling, disruptive style. Taking a closer look and the logotype will reveal the idiosyncratic and individual personality of the brand. With supporting type in the organic, classic serif typeface Perpetua, the logo tells a story of tradition, respect and passion while retaining its own singularity.
