Pareidolia AR - Noise sculptures
I extended a personal study in Pareidolia from 3D & visual to augmented reality. This is the home screen to my AR application.
Experience UI
First step: instruct the user and allow them to scan their space to find the perfect spot. The user is presented with feathered dotted planes to visualise the plane scanning process whilst being clearly instructed to move their phone around and to tap on the place they wish to spawn the artwork.
UI: The UI appears once they select their spot and the art has spawned. The UI must remain minimal and unobtrusive to allow the user to ‘see through it’ and view the scene whilst providing the option to interact and create change.
