Community Walls

We (Eventjoy) did our first internal hackathon and ended up designing and building Community Walls, a live updating dashboard of recent ticket sales for event organizers. Our event organizers can simply select an event and then throw up this dashboard on a TV or large monitor.

The dashboard animates every time a new sale is made. A sound -- which is customizable by the organizer and ranges from Yoda to Jurassic Park -- also plays.

Things were designed around material concepts and built with polymer.

Eventjoy organizers can use this today in our App Center, while developers can access the open source project at https://github.com/Eventjoy/community-walls
