Movie Posters
This movie poster is a personal project I did for design class. The task was to create a movie poster of how was our early-2023 experience. The inspiration of this movie is me being left behind by friends and loved-ones. Me being at the bottom of the stairs is an indication of my status in life that my 2023 started by humbling me, leaving me at the bottom. The ghostly effect indicates that the only ones who look closer at me will notice that I need help... that there is someone at the bottom of the stairs. I styled the text that way as if it's how you read it when walking down the stairs: You, Were, Never, Really, Here. I think the word "here" fits nicely because as you arrive at the bottom, you'd realize that I was just "here." Moreover, credits to the credit block template I used.
This movie poster is another personal project I did for design class. We were only tasked to create 1 movie poster, but I submitted 2. The movie poster "One More Light" is inspired from Linkin Park's song for Chester "One More Light." It talks about depression and suicide. I recommend that you listen to the song to understand the poster. This photo was shot during the pandemic so I am wearing a mask. This was the only photo I have that fit with the poster style I wanted to go for. It's like having a "one last ride" vibe. The person in this supposedly movie is suffering from depression but no one seems to notice it, thus the tagline "Just 'cause you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there." There is more to things than the eyes can see. This is why we learn to be kinder to everyone we see. Who cares if one more light goes out? (who cares if one more person dies?) Well, I do.
