How important is your profile image? Some would say - a lot. 

But it's not, not nearly important as the work itself.

Still, as the work I'm in is design, and I have a newly designed portfolio in a certain visual style, a new banner image in that same style, and as any act of design is an exercise—I have made all these versions of a profile image to try out on Twitter. 

Finally I used none of them. I'm still going with a tomato on the red background. With profile images on a social network like Twitter, It's more important that it pops than that it fits.
