Surf Dino Duo

Starting with a pencil sketch on paper, I worked to create the pair of characters, working to craft a friendly T-Rex and Triceratops... Then came the hard part: Placing their limbs into some human pose that looked "natural."

That figured out, it was nailing the expressions, hand gestures and more, and then just getting everything to look like it belonged in the same frame.

More hours than I care to admit later, working strictly with the pen tool via a mouse, I had what looked like a regular day for a surfing dino duo.
