Destination Page

Liverpool Waters...It's an amazing waterfront destination that is perfect for anyone looking for a mix of offices, retail, and leisure options. While the Liverpool Waters brand is bold and corporate, they want to appeal to a wider audience beyond just B2B. That's why they're adding street feasts, breweries, weekend markets and more to attract everyone.

The Brief

Create a new 'What's On' page that stands out from the rest. We're introducing a new colour palette and want to represent Liverpool Waters as an emerging area, similar to Manchester's Northern Quarter or London's Kings Cross, Coal Drops Yard. It's going to be a wonderful place for the local community to come together, find out about local news and events, and connect with one another.

What did I do with the brief?

When you first arrive on our page, you'll be greeted by a captivating header video that showcases all the amazing events that have taken place in the past. I believe this is the best way to bring Liverpool Waters to life for you! I introduced the use of ED Nimpkish Regular font to give the page a unique personality. Unlike other websites that use standard fonts, I wanted to do something different that would appeal to a wider audience.

I used vibrant colors and gradients to create a modern and eye-catching design. The messaging is key, which is why I've used the phrase "Where history meets vibrant city life." Liverpool is a city full of history, and I wanted to tap into that to create a unique identity for Liverpool Waters.

To make it easy for you to navigate the page, I've included a bar across the top that quickly jumps down to the relevant sections. The events section is first because the goal is to get people to come to Liverpool Waters. By showing things that might intrigue personal interests, I hope to draw people in. I've made it easy for you to plan your visit by including the cost and date at the top of the event tab. This helps different demographics plan their visit and makes it a destination for everyone.

Let me know what you think of my web concept? Thanks for looking!
