Logo Design for MyBookshelf.pl 📚

🎯 Objective

The aim was to create a visual identity for MyBookshelf, a web application for book enthusiasts 📖. The logo was meant to embody the spirit of the platform, which allows users to create virtual bookshelves, share reviews, and trade books.

🛠️ Solution

I opted for a typographic, flat, and simple logo ✏️ that encapsulates the functionality and user-friendly nature of the application. The logo consists of two elements: a handwritten "My" ✍️ and a sans-serif "Bookshelf", which symbolize the personal nature and modernity of the platform.

I chose a dark, bottle green color 🌿 for the text, adding a touch of elegance and prestige. Over the word "Book", I placed illustrations of four book spines 📚, which are in colors: dark green, orange, orange-yellow, and faded yellow. Each book spine symbolizes the uniqueness and diversity of books available on the platform.

Underneath the word "Bookshelf", across its entire length, I added a faded yellow, simple shelf. The shelf symbolizes the platform's core function, the ability to create personal virtual bookshelves 📒.

🏁 Outcome

The logo perfectly mirrors the values and functionalities of the MyBookshelf application. The aesthetics and color scheme of the logo focus on contrasts - modernity 🌆 and tradition 🏛️, personal character ❤️ and universality 🌎, which perfectly express the nature of the platform.
