Grubhub's NEW Cuisine Illustrations

I've been waiting for this to go LIVE for a while and it went live a month or so ago. I had the wonderful opportunity to redesign and recreate Grubhub's top 50 cuisines. These show up in either search or the cuisine carousel in home.

A lot of work went into trying to figure out this new style. Everything was done with purpose. The goal was to have these illustrations legible at a small scale, and it meant simplifying the style and representing the cuisine as best as we could. As well as keeping the proportions similar and balanced that way they all look great sitting next to one another. I simplified the original Grubhub illustration palette that way it still felt like Grubhub and didn't divert too far from the original marketing content. I also wanted the images to look appealing and fun!
