Today we are thrilled to present my latest creation for [Redesign] Manchester United Landing Page. In this case study, I'll explore the redesign of the Manchester United Landing Page, focusing on enhancing the user interface (UI) to improve user engagement and provide a modern and visually appealing experience. I'll analyze the challenges faced in the original design and propose solutions to address them effectively.
Goal
The main objective of this redesign is to create an immersive and user-friendly landing page that reflects the brand identity of Manchester United. The new design should encourage fan engagement, showcase the club's achievements, and provide seamless access to important information and resources.
Challenges
Outdated Visuals: The original landing page had a dated design with inconsistent typography, colors, and imagery. It failed to capture the dynamic and exciting nature of Manchester United as a football club.
Poor Information Hierarchy: The existing layout lacked a clear information hierarchy, making it difficult for users to find the most important and relevant content easily. This led to a disjointed user experience and decreased engagement.
Inadequate Call-to-Action (CTA): The previous design lacked compelling CTAs, resulting in low conversion rates. Users were not sufficiently motivated to explore further or take desired actions such as purchasing tickets or joining the official fan community.
Solution
Modern Visual Refresh: The new design will feature a modern and sleek visual style, utilizing the latest UI trends and incorporating Manchester United's brand colors and imagery effectively. Consistent typography, visually appealing graphics, and well-balanced layouts will be employed to create an engaging and visually cohesive experience.
Clear Information Hierarchy: Through thoughtful restructuring and organization of content, the redesigned landing page will prioritize important information such as upcoming fixtures, latest news, and special events. A clear and intuitive navigation system will be implemented to guide users seamlessly through the website.
Compelling CTAs: The new design will integrate persuasive CTAs strategically throughout the landing page, encouraging users to take desired actions. Emphasis will be placed on ticket purchases, membership sign-ups, and social media engagement, ensuring fans are actively involved with the club.
