Dojo

I am a huge fan of old martial art movies and the mystery and intrigue surrounding the story lines. I also love the history around the art itself and how it has been taught and practiced for many years.

I wanted to create a series of illustrations that worked as individual prints, as well as in a set. The project surrounded four characters — each representing a Kung-Fu fighting stance and depicted by the animal associated with this stance in ancient lore.
