Under the hood

Alarm messages aggregated by the P2000 API showing priority activity of the Dutch Emergency Services including type of incident, location, priority and units alerted are anonymized and displayed on location based on GPS position.

Some considerations:

1. Data: Because the C-2000 network is an encrypted network the data parsed by the API would look something like 'Emergency: ambulance on the way' without further context. In order for the app to provide a real utility, the headlines should be rewritten to provide further context.

2. Color. In this concept, the UI is dark, to emphasize a serious, 'something is going on' look. One could also argue that a subject like this needs a light and clean look to make the subject less spooky.

3. Navigation bar. I don't love the navigation background. The grey makes the whole app feel a bit...oldschool. Work in progress.
