"Dama Manchada" is the chosen name for the female street tango duo because it is the name of a family of native butterflies in Argentina.

The logo and icon are born from the fusion between the morphology of the butterfly and the strokes of Fileteado Porteño, an artistic style born and characteristic of the City of Buenos Aires.
