Householder Logo

Householder is an online and bricks and mortar meditation studio supporting daily mindfulness practice. Householder is non-sectarian and dedicated to the concept of one dharma — unified Śamatha-Vipassanā (ease and insight) and Śūnyatā (emptiness) practices from the Theravāda, Mahāyāna and Tantrayāna Buddhist traditions. The solution was to make the type reflect the ease and accessibility of simple breath meditation in contrast with the primary icon and the existential challenges inherent in impermanence, suffering and the empty nature of self and all phenomena. There may or may not be a nod to my youth and interest in the Grateful Dead.
