Scandinavian Furniture Website Design | Day 23
Here is an update on Day 23 of Build 2.0. We have entered Phase 2, and from now on all the designs created are originally designed by me, which amplifies my excitement to share my work even more!
On Day 23, we were tasked with designing a website for Scandinavian-style furniture. Allow me to share a glimpse into my design process:
✅ I began by researching what Scandinavian-style furniture truly represents. A major shoutout to ChatGPT, which made my efforts much more efficient.
✅ From my research, I discovered that the style is characterized by minimalism, earthy tones, warmth, and functionality.
✅ Drawing from these insights, I explored various color palettes and ultimately settled on one that combines earthy, pastel, and warm hues.
✅ For the typography, I aimed for a balance of elegance and modernity, selecting a combination of Serif and Sans-serif fonts: Playfair Display and Lato, respectively.
✅ Finally, my favorite part of the design process arrived. I unleashed my creative juices in Figma, resulting in the creation you see before you.
