Diving Falcon & Shield

Hey y'all. I'm creating a mark for an organization whose mission embodies precision, timing, speed, integrity. I haven't quite landed on type yet but I wanted to check with y'all first on the readability/clarity of the mark.

Goals: precision, strength, speed, incorporate a shield shape and incorporate a bird.

Also, have you seen this execution of a Falcon yet? you guys are my eyes in the sky.
