Bradly Nadeau | NHL Draft | Hockey Design

Having taken some time off in 2023 for my honeymoon and other personal endeavors, it had been a while since I've really had time to work on any personal projects. What better time to shake off some rust that with the NHL Entry Draft offering the chance for a fresh design perspective for both teams and prospects.

I was very excited to see Bradly Nadeau become the first University of Maine

hockey player drafted in the first round since Barrett Heisten in 1999. Saw this

as a good opportunity to put some collateral together and the scope went from

"just a jersey swap" to "a simple draft graphic" to "a draft memorabilia card."

Tried to keep the overall design concept simple

to keep the focus on the Nadeau jersey swap without straying

too far from something the Hurricane's social team might post.

Those with an eagle eye can see that I leveraged an image of

current Hurricanes forward Martin Necas for the main jersey swap.
