OTOZAN PICK-UP & DELIVERY SERVICES

OTOZAN is a local business in the city I used to live in. They offer their service of sending and/or receiving errands and picking up or delivering packages for locals in the city. The food and delivery service was already saturated and they wanted to stand out and same time promote their business with a friendly appeal for the mass market.

Their Logo was well fit for a simple stick-man animations and motion graphics since they are well backed with a good brand identity. This opportunity gave me an opportunity to experiment merging 3D and 2D environment to my advantage.

The challenges I encountered with this advertisement was; (1) how I was able to balance the 3D and while maintaining 2D look by utilizing blender's ability to automate the keyframes on the shader nodes and modifier sliders on the properties panel. (2) I learned a workaround on how to manage blender's Dope Sheets and Graphic Design on a complex level which led me to (3) a dynamic parenting and rigging constraints.

My main takeaway in this project is to keep it simple for easier scene and file management. It is also a good practice as it lowers the risk of project corruption and errors. Planning ahead and clear story boarding of details in transitioning different shots are crucial especially when working with a complex rig, shifting dimensions/perspectives in the scenes or simply working with a team.
