Scanograph Collage #1

Scanography or Xerox art is the process of moving an image or object on a scanner or photocopier. The process creates interesting forms, shapes, and distortions.

This is a scanograph of a collage. I used lettering and type that I'd already distorted, as well as black and white paper to create the collage. This particular scanograph has wavy shapes and I like the high contrast.

These scanographs will form textures and backgrounds in my final visual pieces for my upcoming DESIGN IS online exhibition.
