Pattern

The brief was to create a pattern that could be used for a designer in the future. The point is that it is always useful to retain a portfolio full of things such as patterns that can be alongside other work. They wanted the artist to take inspiration from the world around us whether the idea be natural or man-made. For this I took inspiration from wood rings and how each ring follows the shape of the last. I digitalised it to fit in with the modern design world and of course, used the perfect CMYK.
