Our project revolved around enhancing the UI/UX design for Edge Workspaces, an avant-garde working environment for professionals. Known for their sustainable workspaces in smart buildings, Edge offers a range of solutions from private offices to memberships, meeting rooms, and event spaces. With a community of forward-thinking, ambitious, and purpose-driven professionals, Edge represents the future of work.
Objective
The main goal was to design an intuitive, engaging, and easy-to-navigate platform that reflects the innovative and sustainable ethos of Edge Workspaces. The platform needed to cater to various user personas, from large corporations to solopreneurs and freelancers. Key features included showcasing workspace solutions, online booking of facilities, and fostering community interactions.
Process and Approach
Understanding the user journey was crucial to our design process. We embarked on creating user personas representing large corporations, SMEs, solopreneurs, and freelancers to understand their needs, behaviors, and pain points.
The next step involved sketching wireframes, which aided in visualizing the structure of the platform. We focused on creating an intuitive navigation system that allows users to seamlessly browse through various workspace solutions, book facilities, and interact with the community.
Our approach was to infuse Edge's ethos of innovation and sustainability into the design. We used a modern, clean, and minimalistic design language complemented with vibrant imagery showcasing the lively workspaces.
