Hello! This app is a product of Dribbble's Product Design Course, designed specifically for gyms. With this app, you can buy a fitness club membership, get a personalized workout plan, track your progress toward your goals, and sign up for workouts.

Purpose: This app is part of Dribbble's Product Design Course and serves as a real-life project for gymly.io.

Design brief & Problem statement

Users who have gym memberships often have ambitious fitness goals but struggle to feel empowered to reach them. They want to go to the gym more often but face challenges like work that prevent them from doing so. The goal is to create a simple and easy-to-use application that can increase KPI.

Research

I interviewed individuals between the ages of 27 and 54 who regularly participate in sports. My main goal was to understand why people go to the gym, what goals they set, and to learn about their experiences. Additionally, I sought to understand how people structure their workouts.

Decision

Create an app that allows users to purchase memberships online, easily sign up for group workouts, and receive a free workout plan tailored to their goals, age, fitness level, and schedule. The app also includes a detailed plan for self-guided workouts at the gym.

User flow

This flow describes the user's journey from purchasing a subscription online to attending a workout and leaving a review.

Wireframes

At this point, I did the flow between screen elements and evaluated how many clicks a user would need to become a gym member and book a workout.

Visual design

While working on the visual part of the app, I used colors and font of Gymly. Additionally, I incorporated video into the content instead of images for the first time.

Prototyping

While working on the prototype, I worked my way through three main ways:

1. A new user who decides to buy a membership and wants a personalized plan

2. A new user who opts out of the personal plan

3. A user who has already bought a membership from a manager.
