Editorial Illustration for Frankie Magazine
My fourth and final mock project brief set by Inkygoodness Collective, as part of their Make Your Mark 10-week programme for artists and illustrators.
The brief was to create a full page illustration for frankie magazine to accompany the article - 'Cocktail o'clock: How to stock your own home bar and channel that inner Don Draper)β. The article discusses the joy of cocktail making, offering 10 tips for creating your own home bar, and the brief was open for us to interpret as we wished.
Predictably I went down the character route, once again channelling 1960s & 70s pop art-infused psychedelia with a contemporary flat style. It took me a while to get this one right, but Iβm pretty pleased with how it turned out. What do you think?
