Krony (aka Rive)

Professional networking has become inefficient in today’s culture and often fails to establish meaningful connections. A solution is needed to turn networks into digital databases, establish smarter contact filtering, and have easier ways to keep in touch with contacts. As Stu McLaren puts it, “It’s not the business card, but the way people approach networking that’s the fundamental problem.”

I played with a “Handshake” idea, assuming that professional information can be instantly exchanged with wearable devices.

As of August 2015, this app can now be found in the Apple App Store under the name Rive. The project featured here was a university course creative exploration, and my friend Ash brought the designs to the finish line after I had submitted my project at SJSU. I'm very proud to have been a part of the initialization of this app.
