Form/Substance

This is a poster designed for the graphic design festival Breda 2015, here the rationale, enjoy!

I think it’s possible to describe the graphic design with the phrase "shaping ideas". So, inspired by the philosophical concepts of form and substance, I tried to summarize this creative process into a series of symbolic elements. Thoughts: the original idea, represented by typography; Hands: the human component that allows the idea to start, through tests and attempts; Pencils: archetype of the creative tool; Eggs: chosen for their geometric perfection and for their possibility of feeding: ideas feeding ideas.
