Thingol Greycloak

lu Thingol, then known as Elwe, was the leader of the Telerin elves. But he strayed from the path as he was enthralled by the beauty of Melian the Maia. He engendered the Kingdom of Doriath which served as the stronghold of the Sindar, a subgroup of Teleri whom stayed behind to search for their king. He was the father of Luthien Tinuviel.
