About PackageX
PackageX is a modern logistics firm that digitizes and connects inventory, fulfillment, shipping, delivery, and receiving operations on a unified platform to streamline logistics for retailers, warehouses, commercial businesses, universities, and other building types. With growth in their sights, they needed a strategic design partner to unify their design systems and help them scale their business to the next level.
The Challenge
The goal of our initial engagement was to design a user-friendly delivery app that simplifies package tracking for drivers. The app aimed to provide a compassionate delivery experience while adhering to usability best practices. Ensuring cohesion with other Package X applications and products was also a priority to create a seamless experience.
The Solution
Using base elements from PackageX’s global design system, we designed a simple to use interface in both light and dark mode for improved contrast and accessibility. With empathy and delight as two of our core design objectives, we created a dashboard that celebrates the drivers’ performance and brings a level of enjoyment to an otherwise utilitarian experience.
The Result
Brave People provided the PackageX team with timely delivery of full-fidelity clickable prototypes and design guidelines for their driver-side app which was essential to the business. Our team provided process and documentation along the way that will continue to serve the PackageX team for years to come.
