Empire theatre - Bangalore

Here is another Gem, an absolute architectural delight, One of the oldest single screen theatre, - Empire. Now Typically is nestled behind huge adverting hoarding on MG road. Built around 1940’s it ran full house for mostly Hollywood films. This was a favourite hub for film lovers to get to MG road during the weekend to catch a movie.

Now a cultural heritage of Banglaore, the building stands out with it beautifully detailed outer facade, carved pillars, windows that standout among other modern buildings around MG road.
