Future Labs - Netflix for Vision Pro
Making justice to our name, we decided to launch this space called #FutureLabs. Here, we attempt to experience the future through design.
We decided to look into the world of Spatial Design as our initial journey into the unknown. Taking Netflix as example, we reimagined the app for the new Apple’s Vision Pro.
Our first big challenge was to keep the app familiar but at the same time visually adapted to this new spatial language. Next, we used dimension and depth to push the experience further with immersion. Here’s where the magic starts to happen. The surroundings start to dim and custom elements from the series start to apear, provoking this “wow” moment in the user.
These key moments were one of our biggest discoveries. Designers now will be able to generate surprise in order to fulfill the immersive experience and engage with the app in whole new way.
