The Drive

Recently I was asked to contribute to The Drive, a project by Swiss documentary filmmaker Guillaume Le Vallois. Guillaume bought a used taxi in NY, and is currently traveling across the country from NY to San Francisco, with artists decorating and modifying the taxi along the way while he, in turn, films them and their process.

I was surprised by and loved the incongruity of seeing a New York City taxi in Chicago, so I did a quick and dirty lettering piece paying homage to this one cab that got away (+ a favorite movie of mine).
