How can UI ease the navigation and interaction of following a recipe on a mobile app when cooking in the kitchen?

The Challenge

After evaluating and exploring the Tasty mobile app, key insights were that; the components and text styles were clunky. Lack of negative space and action buttons to navigate. The screen wasn’t optimised having the videos in such a small view.

The challenge was to redesign the app to improve the user experience and match the quality of their efficient and snappy video productions.
