In one of my classes I go on to explain that you don't need all the fancy tools or the skills to wield a brush pen in order to achieve a desirable brush pen look signature logo. For the first dozen or so logos that I created in this style, all I ever owned was a 2H led pencil and whatever paper I could get my hands on.

This is a demo of a very rough pencil sketch showing you how to get the thicks and thins associated with this style of typography.
