Happy to share a brand identity that I have designed for Ashleigh Elayne MUA.

ABOUT

Ashleigh Elayne is a truly passionate makeup artist based in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa. Her exceptional versatility allows her to create any look and style that her clients desire, and she always goes the extra mile to ensure that their needs are met. Her true passion lies in weddings, matric balls, and personal photoshoots, where she gets to showcase her unique talent for creating soft, natural and elegant looks. Ashleigh's ability to create a flawless and natural look is truly unmatched, making her the go-to artist for any occasion.

PROBLEM

Design a personal brand identity that exudes luxury, while being inspired by the natural beauty of the environment. The target audience for this brand are women who are looking for a beautiful makeover for their special occasion.

SOLUTION

To complement the warm, reassuring, and down-to-earth personality of the brand, we incorporated earthy brown tones into the brand's visual identity. This color scheme is well-suited to attract an audience who prefer a soft, natural look.

To add a personal, creative touch to the brand name, a script font was chosen. This font style enhances the brand's warm and approachable personality, while also creating a sense of intimacy between the brand and its audience. To balance out the playfulness of the script font, a serif font was used for the supporting text. This typeface is known for its elegance, classiness, and formality, which perfectly align with the luxurious look and feel of the brand.
