Editorial Illustrations

I had the privilege of collaborating with Third Eye Magazine, a captivating online publication, where I had the opportunity to breathe life into their digital pages through a series of freelance illustrations. Each artwork was meticulously crafted to complement the magazine's content, infusing it with visual storytelling and adding an immersive layer to the reader's experience. Through this project, I aimed to ignite curiosity, evoke emotions, and leave a lasting impression on the audience, as art seamlessly intertwined with the written word.

My design process for the editorial illustration on the Asha workers' experience in India involved thorough research and thoughtful composition. Through visually engaging elements, I aimed to depict their important contributions and shed light on their impactful work in healthcare.

In creating the editorial illustration highlighting the inspiring story of The Shaheed Hospital at Dalli-Rajhara, Chhattisgarh, I focused on visually depicting its role as a community-driven healthcare facility. Through thoughtful imagery and attention to detail, the illustration aimed to showcase the hospital's commitment to providing affordable and ethical treatment to the working class, nearby villages, and the Adivasi community for several years.

Through thoughtful imagery and attention to detail, the below illustration aimed to highlight the success of Tribal Health Initiative (THI) in Tamil Nadu founded by Dr. Regi George and Dr. Lalitha Regi in 1992, emphasizing their dedication to improving healthcare for tribal communities.

In the design process for the editorial illustration accompanying Third Eye's film "Sex [Work] and the City," I delved into the essence of Kolkata's rich history and the intertwined narratives of sex work and the city's evolution. Through a blend of archival references and evocative visuals, the illustration aimed to capture the unique perspective of sex workers and convey the tale of Kolkata's enduring legacy through their experiences.

In conclusion, my freelance work for Third Eye Magazine allowed me to contribute a visual narrative to their online publication through a series of illustrations. With each artwork, I aimed to enhance the magazine's content and engage readers by bringing captivating visuals that complemented the written articles.
