Woahdira Rebrand
I had the pleasure of working with Yadira to refresh her branding at the end of 2022. Woahdira is a business focused on creating organic, healing, and clean skincare. They are passionate about creating high quality products made to fortify your temple, while also prioritizing the use of low waste packaging. This project has a special place in my heart.

I always begin with sketches when beginning work on a branding project. Although I am not showing my thumbnail sketches here, they are an integral part of my process. Putting pen to paper translates my creative ideas into a tangible visible element that can be critiqued and refined as I establish brand concepts.
Following the thumbnail stage, I will digitalize and refine two or three of the best concepts to create "roughs". This is the stage where color is added and the logos come to life. I also add moodboards to display alongside the logo rough to show clients the potential for the design concepts. I might be able to envision the possibilities, but you might not be able to. This stage helps bridge the gap before designs are finalized! Think of this like flippers who walk into an old house that needs some work and sees the potential. They believe that it is possible, but someone else may not be able to get past the reality of the space.
Yadira fell in love with the balance and refinement of concept two. Once she made a decision on the direction, I polished the logo and adjusted the final color scheme to further establish the brand. Some of my ideas behind the final logo are listed below:
• Inspired by the seed of life, which was requested by the client
• Concept two was created with a daffodil in mind
• Daffodils were used for healing and are a symbol of self love and care
• They symbolize new beginnings, renewal, optimism, and grace
• Orange and peach varieties symbolize health and vitality
• The seed of life has been used for ages, so I had to come up with a new simplistic, balanced mark that hinted at the idea
• Using visual elements from the seed of life, I created something new and unique
When the main logo has been approved, I take time to flesh out the rest of your logo family. Every logo is different and some brands might not need tons of options, so the expanse of the logo family varies from one client to the next. Below you can see the variations created for Woahdira's logo family. Notice some blank spots? Those are the white versions!
I always create some mockups along the way to show you what you could create with your new logo. These are a few of my favorites for Woahdira.
