Preview of the animated movie: Hope. Helena Alexandrovna Izvolskaja, writer, journalist and Russian emigrant.

Finished January 2022. The full movie will be published on youtube in 2024.

As an animator and video editor I collaborated with researches, illustrator and one another graphic designer to create animated movie about destiny of one of the many refugees from Russia in 1920s.

The movie was created by traditional animation (1 second = 12 frames) in program called Krita.

This animated film is part of the project: Potential of Migration. The Contribution of (Not Only) Russian Emigrants to Interwar Europe (Today), supported by Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA ČR).

Illustrations were made in ProCreate.

Programs used for animation and postproduction: Krita, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effect, Adobe Audition.
