Brokenstraw 2023

Time for an evolution. In college, my professor prompted us to give ourselves a brand for our student show. A way to evolve our work past our own names. I chose Brokenstraw. The name comes from the first nursery started by Jonny Appleseed, who shares my name: Jon Chapman. It felt fitting because brokenstraw was where his livelihood and legend started. Today has been almost 10 years since I’ve adopted that name and i’m again using this moniker as my full time jobs to grow brands.
