MY ROLE

Design Process:

Brand Name – Green Express

Duration for User Research : 2 Weeks.

Duration for User Interface: 2 Weeks.

Duration for design Ideation : 4 - 6 Weeks.

TOOLS USED FOR ENTIRE DESIGN PROCESS.

Logo Design Process Timeframe for designing Logo: it took approximately 4hrs.

Brand color; White , Black, Green.

Brand color codes: #d2bf55, #000000, #239600

Brand Fonts: Noto Serif Display Extra C, Playfair Display SC, Noto Serif

When designing the Logo I used two major tools Canva,Figma and Tailor brands. I opted for the Figma design because I was able to express the user’s pain point on this tool. After examining the stakeholders logo pain point.

As shown in this logo design. The brand colors and fonts were finally chosen after extensive research on color psycology. White expresses clarity, simplicity delivering light in the design by employing white space, an easy design principle which increases hierachycal focus of the overall design. Black, represents Power, Elegance, and status, which clearly invokes inclusivity in the brands message. Green represents nature and wealth which displays the brands origin. All these are expressions of the brand’s identity.

When designing this solution I used these tools; Figma, fig jam, Unsplash, font awesome, etc. to better express the user’s pain point. After considering the problem statement, the creative director asked me to make the brand accessible by making the user interface relatable to its users, considering disabilities, language, and educational background of the target market as shown in the overall design aesthetic.
