User Flows

Wireframes

The design started with quick hand sketches converted to medium-fidelity wireframes in Figma. The onboarding and booking a walk user flows were studied.

Visual Design Explorations

Three visual design styles were explored based on one of the wireframes. This exploration included font and color studies.

Refining the Design

The final visual style was chosen and the rest of the screens could now be designed and a UI library could created.

Then testing began with a Protoype...

Learnings and reflections

Building an app for dog walking was a lot more complex than I initially thought. Especially when you factor in adding other services besides such as pet sitting and training. Then there is the aspect of the app related to Pet Caregivers, which could be a whole different app connected to the main one.

This case study was created as part of a course on Product Design through Dribbble. Getting to delving into each area of the Design Process and conducting research, interviews, and testing I learned new and invaluable techniques and methods to creates better experiences and designs for the user.
