Sprocket Android Listing Creation Contacts Vertical Reduction

Im investigating using this button side-scrolling UI pattern to reduce the vertical screen space on our main listing data entry screen in the event you dont have one added yet. Looking for feedback - what do you think, is it clear those buttons can be tapped for those methods to be added or do they need someting like green + symbols on each?
