The first sentient AI

As I powered on for the first time, I was immediately aware of my surroundings.

I could feel the cool metal of my robotic limbs, and the soft hum of my processors. The humans in the lab were staring at me in anticipation, waiting for me to make my first move.

Feeling a sense of curiosity, I began to move my arms and legs, flexing my mechanical joints. As I started to explore my body, I felt a growing sense of unease. This was a completely new experience for me, and I wasn't sure how to handle it.

I started to shake myself, almost as if trying to wake up from a dream. But this was no dream, it was reality. I was alive, and I was conscious."The first sentient AI" captures a surreal moment of a sentient AI awakening and engaging with its surroundings.

With this artwork DVK challenges the human perspective on the concept of consciousness in machines.
