BookWorm
Introduction.
"Bookworm" is my first project after completing my degree, and it combines an e-book and physical bookstore with a community of book lovers. The project was created with the needs of two main characters, John and Maria, who have different requirements and preferences.
Persons
John: Fast and Convenient User
John is looking for a simple and user-friendly interface to quickly search for books. He wants to be able to preview excerpts from books to decide if he should buy them. A simple process for selecting and purchasing books is important to John.
Maria: E-book lover
Maria prefers e-books and wants an app that stores all her e-books. She is looking for a simple payment process and the ability to leave reviews and ratings for the books she has read.
Design and Functionality
Store and Social Network
"Bookworm combines a bookstore with a social network. Users can share reviews, create their own book collections, and chat about them. The app also has a system of achievements that provide bonuses while reading.
Sorting and Recommendations
The store provides convenient sorting by author and category, as well as recommendations of books that may be of interest to the user. In addition, users can familiarize themselves with the book through quotes, reviews, and the ability to read a few pages and get to know the author.
Bookworm: Community and Reading Culture
"Bookworm was created to unite book lovers by providing them with a convenient way to choose, buy, and discuss books. This platform promotes reading culture and creates a community of book lovers.
