Freelance Designer Logo

Some very rough sketches of a logo for a brand named Pauw. Pauw means Peacock in Dutch.

Why Pauw? Because Darwin has always been very fascinated by the Peacock. He never understood why it survived. It just didn't fit his 'survival of the fittest' theory. He thought about it for years and eventually made an exception, which he called 'survival of the sexiest'. It simply survived because it was so beautiful.

This is in a way the task of a visual designer as well.

It's to be a logo for a freelance designer.

The brandmark also reads Pauw if you take a closer look. The a and u are placed on top of each other.
